The world has witnessed unprecedented changes in the last few decades. These changes have led educators, in this country as well as abroad to rethink about the existing system of education and the role of the school in the twenty first century.
The school is headed by Mrs. Winifred Petrie. Winifred Petrie educated in Dowhill School Kurseong has all along been in the field of education. Her teaching career began from 1968. Mrs Winifred Petrie also taught in St Helen‘s Convent, Kurseong and in Bhutan from 1972 to 1974.
She became Vice Principal in Mahbert High School. She has majored in English from Osmania University and has a Degree in Education from Annamalai University. She has excellent administrative abilities along with more than 30 years experience as an administrative head.
