The world has witnessed unprecedented changes in the last few decades. These changes have led educators, in this country as well as abroad to rethink about the existing system of education and the role of the school in the twenty first century.
Changes have affected every aspect of people's lives the way they think, live, work and communicate. While on one hand, technological advancements and improved communications have opened new vistas of knowledge, globalization and liberalization they have also paved the way for new opportunities that were unheard of before. The society at large is in a flux. The joint family system in India has broken down and a large number of children do not have the benefit of the social, moral, spiritual and psychological support and guidance that earlier used to be provided by members of the extended family.
Thus, the onus of preparing the youth to face the challenges of tomorrow lies to a great extent with schools. All schools are made with the same aim and objective / to raise young boys and girls as good citizens of our nation and prepare them to face multifarious challenges in life. While these aims and objectives are broadly the same for all schools the uniqueness of a school lies in the way the children are trained to face these challenges. It is in this area that Grace Academy will certainly be outstanding in preparing students to develop competencies and skills which would ultimately serve them in the fast changing world.
